Elizabeth Hurley Addresses Split Rumors, "Raw and Personal" Recent Events

Is Elizabeth Hurley parting ways with her fiancé Shane Warne? Not without a fight.

The actress, 48, and her cricket player boyfriend, 44, separately addressed rumors of a split earlier this week. "Apologies to loyal followers for Twitter silence on recent events. Too raw & personal to share right now," Hurley tweeted on Wednesday.

Warne was slightly less cryptic in a similar tweet the same day. "Some of the reports re EH & me r absolute rubbish. Yes we're sorting through some (private) issues. But we're not throwing the towel in yet," he wrote.

Reports of trouble began when Hurley was spotted out without her engagement ring on Tuesday.

Hurley and Warne became engaged in October 2011 after dating for 10 months. Hurley was previously married to Arun Nayar for four years and also dated Hugh Grant for 13 years. Warne was previously married to Simone Callahan for 10 years.

Hurley will next appear in the E! scripted pilot The Royals.
