Bill Maher may need to cough up $5 million or else face Donald Trump's wrath.

On Monday, Maher made a Trump-esque demand to see the real estate mogul's birth certificate while appearing on the Tonight Show. Maher noted that he would donate $5 million to the charity of Trump's choice if the Celebrity Apprentice host proved he's not the "spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan." Ouch.
Well Maher may now have to put his money where his mouth is. On Tuesday, Trump's lawyer sent a copy of Trump's birth certificate with a letter to Maher demanding that he send the $5 million to Trump to be distributed to five charities, according to Yahoo News.

Trump famously promised to donate $5 million to charity if President Barack Obama would provide his college records and passport applications, and also demanded to see Obama's birth certificate.
