WHAT A DIFFERENCE ELECTION CHAOS MAKES

The ongoing election mess helped NBC's Today show post the highest ratings in morning television history last week. Today averaged 8.41 million viewers, more than the combined viewership for ABC's Good Morning America and CBS's The Early Show. Saturday Night Live, meanwhile, also is benefiting from the too-close-to-call presidential debacle. The show averaged 10.9 million viewers last Saturday, its largest audience in eight months.
