DESPERATE EMMYS FIND LOST VIEWERS

Speaking of the Emmys, early numbers indicate that more than 18.5 million people tuned in to watch William Shatner watch an opera singer "Oooooh-ahhh, ooh-wah-wah-wah-wooo" to the Star Trek theme, marking a 35 percent increase over last year's audience and the awards show's best draw since 2002. On a side note, anyone else have haunting dreams since that Blue Man Group performance? Just me? OK.
