Tonight's episode of Bravo's Top Design mixes reality TV with harsh reality, as John Gray, whose outbursts have already caused friction among the cast of competing interior designers, reveals that his anger was fueled by medication used in treatment of his HIV-positive condition. "I just want everyone to know," USA Today quotes Gray as telling his fellow contestants. "I'm not making excuses or apologies."

Though Gray disclosed his HIV status during casting, producers had no designs on revealing it. As exec producer Clay Newbill tells USA Today, "This isn't a relationship show, so it wasn't an issue."
