Freshly minted Golden Globe winner Kyra Sedgwick has sealed a new deal with TNT to remain the star of The Closer. Not only has she extended her current contract by a year (bringing its total span to seven seasons), but she is also becoming a producer on the show and will enjoy a pay hike to about $250-300,000 per episode ( plus the occasional "We heart you, Kyra" bonus). Sedgwick's raise makes her one of TV's highest-paid actresses, and means that hubby Kevin Bacon can stop mulling over that offer to front Footloose 2.
