David Carradine

David Carradine leaves a legacy of more than 100 films and countless television appearances, including his starring role on Kung Fu. To celebrate his long career, we look back on his life and work.

In this clip, Carradine tries to tell his entire life story in 60 seconds:

The opening that started it all: the beginning of the pilot for Kung Fu, in which Kwai Chang Caine (Carradine) remembers his early days in the Shaolin temple. Includes the classic "snatch the pebble from my hand" scene.





Though best known for martial arts roles, Carradine more than held his own in dramatic films, including Bound for Glory, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe for his portrayal of folk singer Woody Guthrie:
