Wedding Singer lovebirds Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore made lightening strike twice with their latest romantic comedy, 50 First Dates. The film debuted at No. 1 over the Valentine's weekend with $41 million. It was the second biggest February opening on record, behind 2001's Hannibal ($58 million). Barbershop 2 slipped to No. 2 with $15.6 million, followed by Miracle (No. 3 with $14 million), The Butterfly Effect (No. 4 with $5.7 million) and You Got Served (No. 5 with $5.1 million).
