Darth Vader Posts Selfie on Star Wars' New Instagram Account

Star Warsjoined the world of Instagram on Monday, kicking off its account with a Darth Vader selfie.

"Another day at the office. #StarWars #DarthWader #selfies #gpom," the first post read with Darth posing for a selfie as dead Stormtroopers littered the floor behind him.

The Star Wars feed already has already attracted more than 120,000 followers.

Star Wars' increased Internet presence comes as the franchise is revving up to start work on the first new film since 2005's Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.  Episode VII, which is set after the death of Darth Vader, will go into production in spring 2014 and is scheduled to hit theaters in 2015.
