Dark Knight Rises Tops the Weekend Box Office in Week 2

The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises drew $64.1 million in its second week, keeping it on top at the weekend box office.

The third and final film in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, which stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, dropped 60 percent from its opening weekend, Box Office Mojo reports. It has now grossed $289.1 million domestically.

Ice Age: Continental Drift, featuring the voices of Ray Romano and Denis Leary, followed in second place with $13.3 million, bringing its total to $114.8 million.

New films The Watch, starring Ben Stiller, and Step Up Revolution debuted to $13 million and $11.8 million, respectively. Ted rounded out the top 5 films with $7.4 million.

Rounding out the top 10: The Amazing Spider-Man (No. 6, $6.8 million), Brave (No. 7, $4.2 million), Magic Mike (No. 8, $2.6 million), Savages (No. 9, $1.8 million) and Moonrise Kingdom (No. 10, $1.4 million).
