Wonder Years Star Turns Eve-il
This summer, Wonder Years moppet Fred Savage, now 28, married his childhood neighbor Jennifer Stone, also 28, in Los Angeles. But where was his other dream girl next door? We're thinking of Winnie Cooper (aka Danica McKellar), who was Kevin Arnold's crush throughout the classic dramedy series. Rumor has it Mrs. Savage objected to her attending the wedding....
"You are not the first person who has said that," McKellar, 29, tells TV Guide Online with a laugh. "Fred and I stay in touch, but I was out of town. People say, 'Oh, you didn't go because the wife didn't want you there. She's jealous!' But no. Jenny is very sweet. I've met her several times. She's adorable.
"Fred and I are much more like brother and sister," says the actress, who more recently played Elsie Snuffin on The West Wing. "We had a crush on each other in the very beginning but he ended up becoming my annoying little brother."
This doesn't mean McKellar's totally unacquainted with the green-eyed monster. In fact, she's positively burning with jealousy in her guest spot on tonight's Eve (8:30 pm/ET on UPN). "My character, Claudia, starts off as a very sweet and excited bride-to-be, then discovers a few scenes later that her fiancé cheated with another woman and got her pregnant," she previews. "She's devastated, so I get a great breakdown scene. She befriends Eve and they decide the way to deal with heartache is to exact revenge."

Fatal Attraction style. But she comes close. "We're talking about prank phone calls and canceling utilities," McKellar says. "Nothing truly damaging. Although my character starts to go off the deep end. That, of course, shows Eve that if she doesn't figure out how to forgive her ex-boyfriend, she may end up like Claudia, who got a taste of revenge and wants to keep going!"
