Danica Patrick has escaped major injury again.
Patrick was watching a race on Thursday night when a stray rock came off the dirt track and struck her in the head, according to The Associated Press. The racer was glad she had a hat on or "there would have been blood." After being checked out by medical staff on Friday, Patrick said she was doing fine.
Last Sunday, Patrick walked away uninjured at the Phoenix International Speedway after her racecar slammed into a wall. Chunks of Patrick's car were strewn around the track and into the pit lane after the crash, but she was able to climb out of the car and was treated at the infield care center.
