DA VERDICT IS IN

On Friday, the London High Court ruled that author Dan Brown did not steal ideas for The Da Vinci Code from The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, a nonfiction work whose authors had filed a copyright-infringement claim. With this legal nastiness out of the way, Tom Hanks' Da Vinci film will open as planned on May 19, and I can finally buy the paperback without feeling all dirty.
