The original series aired on CBS for three years and starred Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman in the titular roles. The CW version, which will be written by Jennifer Levin (Without a Trace) and Sherri Cooper (Brothers & Sisters), will be a modern-day love story with a procedural twist.
