Just call Billy Grimm the Pied Piper of Cult.
On the new CW series, premiering Tuesday, Feb 19 at 9/8c, Robert Knepper plays actor Roger Reeves who is playing cult leader Billy Grimm on the show-within-the-show called Cult. Matt Davis stars as Jeff, a journalist who is prompted to investigate the rabid fans of the show when his brother goes missing.
In our exclusive promo, scenes from both the show and the show-within-the-show are intertwined as actor Alan Dale reads the words to the Robert Browning poem "The Pied Piper of Hamelin." Just as the piper was said to have caused the death of the town's children, it seems that Grimm — and perhaps Reeves — are responsible for the show's mysterious deaths as well.
