CSI: NY Boss Loses Mystery Guest Star

Gary Sinise in CSI: NY by Monty Brinton/CBS
The writers' strike has claimed another victim. Last fall
CSI guru Anthony Zuiker told TV Guide that for the concluding half of a cross-platform
CSI: NY two-parter about a Second Life killer, he was looking to sign a "Grammy-caliber" musician who would not only act on the show but "host a live concert in Second Life after [the episode airs]." The mega-producer
did win what he describes as "a verbal agreement" with a Grammy-winning singer, but when the strike pushed the episode back, the unnamed female artist (feel free to let us know who you think it could be) had to bow out because she was leaving on tour.
You'll still see the concluding Second Life episode - minus the music but "with a continuing cross-platform hook," Zuiker promises - on April 2, when the CBS procedural returns. "It will be just as grand, and deepen the
CSI: NY experience." -
