Anthony Zuiker

Another fairy tale is getting the small screen treatment.

NBC is developing a drama series based on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland from CSI creator Anthony Zuiker, Deadline reports.

Once Upon a Time Sneak Peek: Sebastian Stan's Mad Hatter drugs Emma!

The project is a sequel to the classic adventure story, set several years after Alice initially ventured down the rabbit hole. The project, which will be written by Whit Anderson, features Alice and a new main character, Clara, who must embark on her own journey to Wonderland.

This is the second Alice in Wonderland-inspired project in development. McG and Chad Hodge are working with the CW on Wunderland, a "contemporary reimagining" of the classic tale.

Are you excited for the series, or does this signal fantasy overload?
