Woody Allen's upcoming Amazon series is starting to reveal itself -- its title, Crisis in Six Scenes, was unveiled during the streaming service's presentation at the Television Critics Association fall previews on Sunday, as was its Sept. 30 premiere date.

Now, the first footage from the six-episode comedy series has hit the internet. The 90-second clip finds Allen asking his barber (Vinyl's Max Casella) asking him to make him look like James Dean.

Why Woody Allen's Amazon show is a huge step in the wrong direction

"I can't make you look like James Dean," says Casella, in a real New Yawk accent. "I can work on your hair for 10 years and you're never going to look like James Dean."

It's trademark droll Woody Allen humor.

Crisis in Six Scenes, the 80-year-old filmmaker's first-ever television series, is a '60s period piece whose sprawling cast includes Miley Cyrus, Elaine May and Joy Behar. It premieres on Amazon Prime Sept. 30, and was greenlit amid allegations from Allen's adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, that he sexually abused her.
