Two blog posts related to allegations that this season of Britain's Got Talent was fixed have prompted Simon Cowell's production company, Syco, to notify the police, The Guardian reports.

Simon Cowell: I take "full responsibility" for Cheryl Cole's X Factor exits

The first came early this month, when an anonymous poster on Justpaste.it, alleged that 12-year-old Ronan Parke, then the front-runner of Cowell's show, was being groomed to win after having been spotted by talent scouts two years ago. The claim turned out to be untrue as Jai McDowall, who's in his 20s, was named the winner on June 4. Cowell's lawyers reported to the police that the post constituted "malicious communication."

Paula Abdul: "I am terrified ... of Simon"

A second post claiming to be from the same source popped up last week, days after the finale had aired. In it, the author apologizes and claims to be suffering from bipolar disorder. Regardless, Cowell's lawyers referred it to the police.
