Is Auggie going back to Iraq?
In our exclusive sneak peek of Tuesday's Covert Affairs (10/9c, USA), Auggie's old marine pal stages an "ambush" — as Auggie (Christopher Gorham) calls it — to ask him to go on Operation Proper Exit, a real initiative within the Troops First Foundation in which wounded veterans return to Iraq to inspire their fellow soldiers and to get their own closure.

Needless to say, Auggie has to think about it. But the story line is part of the drama's Veteran's Day episode next week, which will also feature a PSA with Gorham.
"We're really excited about that Veteran's Day episode," co-creator/co-executive producer Matt Corman told TVGuide.com. "Not only will it deal with the issues of Auggie leaving Iraq, but it's our way of honoring everyone who has and is serving for us."
