Coroner: Autopsy on Marie Osmond's Son Inconclusive; Drug Tests Pending

A cause of death for Marie Osmond's son, Michael Blosil, has been deferred pending toxicology tests to determine if Blosil committed suicide, the Los Angeles coroner's office told TVGuide.com.

"Police reported it as a possible suicide and we're investigating [it] as a suicide," chief coroner Ed Winter said. "We're just waiting for the toxicology to come in to make sure it wasn't an accident or anything with drugs or alcohol involved."The tests could take up to six weeks. An initial autopsy performed Sunday did not determine the cause of death.

Blosil, 18, fell to his death from a balcony Friday night in Los Angeles, Winter said.Osmond has eight children, and Blosil was one of five adopted by Osmond and ex-husband Brian Blosil before the couple divorced in 2007.
