Although pretty much every character ends up dead on American Horror Story, the FX series has been known to welcome back many familiar faces season after season.

However, one of the show's original stars, Connie Britton, has yet to return since starring as Vivien Harmon in Season 1. But even though Britton is busy starring on ABC's Nashvilleshe has thought about popping back up on AHS.

TV wigs: Tricks or treats?

"I hope so," Britton told Rolling Stone when asked about possibly coming back to the anthology series, which is currently shooting Season 3 in New Orleans. "I've actually have been talking to them this season, because they're down in New Orleans and I'm in Nashville. I said, 'Okay, let's see if we can try to figure this out.'"

American Horror Story: Coven, airing Wednesdays at 10/9c on FX, is about a group of witches at a school that trains other witches. Britton, who was nominated for an Emmy for her role on AHS, says she would be happy to ditch her cowboy hat for a witch hat. "I'm like, 'I'll put that on and jump on a plane and go to New Orleans,'"  Britton said. "Yes, I would do that. As long as we can figure it out with both productions, I'm in. I hope it happens."
