Report: Conan O'Brien to Officiate Gay Wedding on TV

Conan O'Brien is bringing his TBS late-night show to New York next week, and while he's here, O'Brien will officiate a gay wedding, TVGuide.com has confirmed.  O'Brien will marry a longtime staffer and his partner on-air during one of next week's episodes, according to Vulture, which first reported the news. A source from the show tells TVGuide.com that it's still unclear which night the wedding will take place.

This isn't the first time a wedding has occurred on late-night television. In 1969, more than 21 million viewers watched musician Tiny Tim marry Miss Vicki on Johnny Carson's The Tonight Show.

Conan's week of broadcasts from New York's Beacon Theater — which will celebrate O'Brien's one-year anniversary on TBS — begin Monday at 11/10c on TBS.
