Mulder & Scully! Marshmallows! A Red Wedding Present! 14 Things We're Psyched for at Comic-Con

Whether you're an alien with two hearts, a clone with identity issues or a part-faerie waitress, Comic-Con is the place for you. The annual convention will hit San Diego Thursday-Sunday to allow fans from all genres to let their geek flag fly. TVGuide.com will wade through this sea of cosplay and free hugs to get the scoop on the latest entertainment news. Here are 14 things we're looking forward to the most at Comic-Con:
Comic-Con 2013: Full TV schedule
1. The truth is still out there It's time to break out your best conspiracy theories. Yep, FBI Special Agents Mulder and Scully (David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson) are back to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Fox's groundbreaking paranormal sci-fi drama, The X-Files. We can't wait to reminisce about cryptids, extraterrestrials and Lone Gunmen. But the big question is: Can we blame The Smoking Man for this one? Yes, we know he's dead ... or is he?!
2. Young and deadly We get a sneak peek at our favorite YA heroines when movie studios preview the film adaptations forThe Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Divergent. What will the 75th Hunger Games quarter quell look like? And can The Secret Life's Shailene Woodley, playing Divergent's Tris, possibly be as kickass as Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss? Let's put them in an arena and see who's more "Dauntless."
3. The Return of the Whedon Coulson lives! We are so psyched that our favorite agent from The Avengers is back, much like how geek god Joss Whedon is back where he belongs on our TVs with the highly anticipated Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Most of the info about the new drama is top secret, but as with everything Whedonesque, we expect nothing less than storytelling genius.
4. A fond farewell to Walt, Barney and Fry Hazmat suit up! It's never easy to say goodbye to a beloved show, but we're just happy that we had a heads up in time for Comic-Con to hold panels for the final seasons of Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother and Futurama. Will Walt pay the ultimate price for his crimes? When exactly will Ted meet the mother? And will the Planet Express crew sail off into the sunset or dive straight into the fiery ball of death of said sun?

5. A brony bash We're not quite sure what to expect from a panel for The Hub's cult-favorite My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, but there is no denying that friendship is indeed magic. We hope to get a glimpse of how Twilight Sparkle is dealing with her princess duties next season, enjoy new pop culture homages set in Equestria and bask in the love of our brony brethren.
6. Send in the clones! Sarah. Alison. Cosima. Helena. Who is your favorite clone? Orphan Black fans are sure to get a thrill and a shock when series stars Tatiana Maslany and Jordan Gavaris take to the stage and speak in Canadian -- not British -- accents. And convincing accents are the least of the reasons why we love this creepy, intriguing and yet funny sci-fi series. Tatiana for the Emmy!
7. Sexy spin-offs Fans of Once Upon a Time and The Vampire Diariescan let their love grow with their upcoming spin-offs this fall. But what will time spent in Wonderland look like? We'll find out with a world premiere screening. And over in New Orleans, we'll see how Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is faring now that he's returned to the city he helped build centuries ago in The Originals. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
8. A toast to all the marshmallows The Veronica Mars movie is on its way, and crowdfunding site Kickstarter made it all possible. We'll join the cast playing Veronica, Logan, Mac, Weevil, Piz and more as they investigate exclusive footage of the long-overdue project about the plucky young private investigator who is surrounded by death, secrets and scandal.

9. A timey-wimey tribute Fifty years of The Doctor! That's a lot of regenerations, monsters and tears. Whovians won't want to miss the panel for the landmark anniversary of Doctor Who that will feature current Time Lord Matt Smith and his companion Jenna-Louise Coleman, both appearing on the special that airs in November. We highly doubt that any big announcements will be made (ahem, the 12th Doctor), but we'll settle for some insight into what John Hurt's role as a "dark Doctor" is all about. Additionally, fans will get info on An Adventure in Space and Time, which details the genesis of the beloved series and stars David Bradley (aka the evil Walder Frey in HBO's Game of Thrones) as the first ever Doctor, William Hartnell.
10. A belated Red Wedding present Sure, the Game of Thrones panel will boast the likes of Tyrion, Jaime and Daenerys, but the real draw will be Robb and Catelyn Stark (Richard Madden, Michelle Fairley), who died so dramatically in this past season's doozy of a penultimate episode. We can't wait to rehash the heartache and hear how the fans react when they spot the actors in public now. But there's one thing we're torn about: Although normally we'd welcome a cast sing-along of "The Rains of Castamere," that song is often the harbinger of bad news. Let's keep the chaos to a minimum in Hall H, shall we?
11. For the love of Odin Move over, Duck Dynasty! Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) and his bearded brethren will storm the convention center to promote History Channel's breakout hit Vikings. The panel will tease Season 2, in which Ragnar will deal with his sticky love triangle, his brother Rollo's betrayal and continued clashes with the rulers of Britain. Sacking and pillaging not included.
12. Words with (geeky) friends This won't be just any ordinary panel about The Big Bang Theory, but one that delves into the behind-the-scenes genius in the writers' room. Who's responsible for Sheldon's geektastic lines? Is any real aerospace knowledge necessary? Can there such a thing as too many Game of Thrones references? (No.)

13. One fae or another True Blood has revitalized itself this season with the introduction of the vamp-fae hybrid Warlow/Ben (Rob Kazinsky), and the panel will no doubt address the complicated tapestry that is Sookie's love life. Plus: Alexander Skarsgaard and Joe Manganiello in an abs-off! (OK, not really, but a fan can day dream!)
14. How old is that in Kryptonian years? Pack your cape. Panels, parties and paraphernalia will honor the Man of Steel as Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment celebrate Superman's 75th anniversary. Luminaries across multiple genres will pay tribute to and discuss the history of the well-known superhero over the years.
