Colton Haynes Is Bringing Roy Back to Arrow

Colton Haynes is returning to Arrow in Season 4, but it may not be good news for everyone. The actor tweeted on Friday that he just landed in Vancouver to start filming again for the hero series.

His character Roy, aka Arsenal, faked his death in Season 3 and left town after taking the fall for being Arrow. When his girlfriend Thea (Willa Holland) tracked him down in hopes of getting him to come back, he told her to find her own path and gave her his Arsenal costume as inspiration.

However, something will be pulling him back to the city amidst Oliver's (Stephen Amell) run for mayor. "We are beyond thrilled that Colton will be returning to Arrow this season," executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells Entertainment Weekly. "It was always our intention to have him return following his departure last season, but it was a matter of finding the right story line to pull it off. That opportunity presented itself in Episode 412, and we can't wait for the fans to see this reunion."

While Roy was a fan favorite, Thea may not be stoked to see her old flame again. She's still dealing with her blood lust side effects from the Lazarus Pits and has been striking up a romantic vibe with Oliver's campaign advisor, Alex (Parker Young).

Is there a chance for the lovebirds to reunite or is Roy's reappearance going to mess things up?
