Oscar winner Christian Bale, who donned the Caped Crusader costume for Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, is reportedly in talks to play Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in Sony's biopic JobsVariety reports.

Written by The Social Network's Aaron Sorkin and directed by Slumdog Millionaire's Danny Boyle, the film is based on Walter Isaacson's biographySteve Jobs.

According to The Daily Beast, the film is divided into three 30-minute acts, each taking place during one of Apple's now-famous product launches.
