Another member of  'N Sync is saying bye, bye, bye to the single life!

Less than a week after Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tied the knot in Italy, his former bandmate Chris Kirkpatrick tells People that he and his girlfriend got engaged while on a pre-planned trip to the same country.

Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel get married

Kirkpatrick, 41, and his girlfriend, marketing rep Karly Skladany, have been dating for two-and-a-half-years and were in Italy to celebrate his birthday.  The singer hadn't originally  planned on proposing there. "We had a hotel room at the Isle of Capri, overlooking the Mediterranean," he told the magazine. "It was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. And it hit me: I wanted to propose to Karly. So I ran to a jewelry store, found the perfect ring and bought it."

After getting permission from Skladany's dad, he popped the question that night. "We were sitting on the balcony with a bottle of champagne and I put the ring in her glass," Kirkpatrick said. "I know it sounds cheesy, but it was romantic. As soon as I asked her, she said, 'It's about time!' And we laughed. It was spur of the moment, but it was absolutely perfect." Kirkpatrick and Skladany, 28, have not yet set a date.

This week, several news outlets reported that Kirkpatrick and the rest of 'N Sync did not receive invites to Timberlake's Italian nuptials. "He didn't want the wedding to be an 'N Sync reunion, and I totally understand that," Kirkpatrick told People. "I already had plans to be in Italy anyway. It was just a coincidence that I was there when Justin got married. There's really nothing negative about any of it."
