As if the Intelligence team wasn't treading on thin enough ice already on Chicago P.D., their latest case could be a PR disaster waiting to happen.
When a young man and his fiancée are carjacked in the district's most dangerous neighborhood, the man is found severely beaten, but the woman is missing. Voight (Jason Beghe) and the crew start to investigated, with Commander Crowley (Barbara Eve Harris) breathing down their necks.
"What we have is a white woman missing in the heart of the black ghetto," Crowley tells the team, noting that the city has seen 12 fatal shootings that week alone. "We're gonna assume the worst - she's been abducted, so do what you need to do to find her. Just do it carefully."
Crowley later reiterates her message, pulling Voight aside to let him know, "When I say be careful, I mean it."
