The new cop drama from The Shield creator Shawn Ryan will premiere on Fox in February, the network announced Wednesday.

The Chicago Code, starring Jason Clarke and Jennifer Beals, will debut Monday, Feb. 7 at 9/8c. The series, formerly titled Ride-Along, follows Chicago's most powerful cops as they try to fight crime and expose corruption within the city.

Fox shelves Lone Star after two episodes

The Chicago Code will replace Lie to Me on the schedule. The Tim Roth-led procedural was slated to return for Season 3 in November, but was bumped up a month after Fox pulled freshman series Lone Star.

Lie to Me will return sometime later next year.
