NBC Invites Chevy Chase to Community

Looks like Chevy Chase is finally ready for prime time.
The Emmy-winning comedian and Saturday Night Live alum has been cast in the NBC comedy pilot, Community, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Should it get picked up, the series will feature Chase's first regular prime-time role.
Community, described as "Stripes at a community college," stars Joel McHale as Jeff, a lawyer who returns to college after his degree is deemed invalid. Chase will play a classmate who has been married five times.
Perhaps warming up for his new gig, Chase graced prime-time TV this season with a two-episode stint on Brothers & Sisters and can next be seen on Chuck.
