The new family drama Chesapeake Shores has all the trappings of your typical Hallmark fare: a small town by the water, a love triangle, a woman who's just trying to have it all, etc. But those aren't the only familiar things about the series. The cast of Chesapeake Shores is filled with recognizable stars, from an Oscar nominee to a made-for-TV queen!

Treat Williams
Who he plays:
Mick O'Brien, a single father who worked tirelessly to provide for his family after his wife Megan left.
Where you know him:
Williams will always be Dr. Brown on Everwood, but since the WB drama ended in 2006 the actor has also appeared in White Collar, Chicago Fire and Confirmation.



Meghan Ory
Who she plays:
Abby O'Brien, a workaholic divorcee who's struggling to balance her career with raising two young daughters.
Where you know her: Ory is best known for playing Red Riding Hood on Once Upon a Time, but she also starred in Vampire High, True Justice, Intelligence and she even had a small role opposite her Chesapeake Shores co-star Jesse Metcalfe in John Tucker Must Die.



Jesse Metcalfe
Who he plays:
Trace Riley, a musician and Abby's high school love, whom she abandoned to move to NYC.
Where you know him: Metcalfe will forever be linked to his role on Desperate Housewives, but that doesn't mean you should forget his work in Passions, Dallas and John Tucker Must Die.



Diane Ladd
Who she plays:
Nell O'Brien, Mick's mother who stepped up to help raise the children after Megan left.
Where you know her: Ladd was nominated for an Oscar for the 1974 film Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore and won a Golden Globe for the TV series Alice. She also scored Oscar nods for Wild at Heart and Rambling Rose and starred opposite her daughter Laura Dern in the HBO series Enlightened.



Laci J. Mailey
Who she plays:
Jess O'Brien, Abby's youngest sister who is attempting to open her own bed and breakfast (despite possessing no notable business acumen).
Where you know her: Supernatural fans will recognize Mailey from her guest appearances as Deputy Jenna Nickerson and a vampire named Emily. She also recurred in Falling Skies as Jeanne, the eldest daughter of Daniel Weaver.



Emilie Ullerup
Who she plays:
Bree O'Brien, Abby's younger sister who is struggling with writer's block following the success of her first play.
Where you know her: Ullerup starred in the Syfy drama Sanctuary as well as the Hallmark mystery series Signed, Sealed, Delivered.



Barbara Niven
Who she plays: Megan, Mick's estranged wife and the mother of his children.
Where you know her: Niven has made her career out of TV movies, including the Murder, She Baked series, The Wife He Met Online, Accused at 17, Dead at 17 and Tiger Cruise. She also starred on Hallmark's very first scripted series, Cedar Cove.

Chesapeake Shores airs Sundays at 9/8c on Hallmark.
