Cherry Jones has joined the cast of NBC's REM pilot, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

The series stars Jason Isaacs as Mark Britton, a police detective who's involved in a traumatic car accident and wakes up in two fractured realities. Jones, 54, will play Jason's shrink in the reality where his wife has been murdered.
The project comes from Kyle Killen, creator of Fox's short-lived Lone Star. Howard Gordon, who worked with Jones on 24, will also executive-produce.
Wilmer Valderrama, Steve Harris, B.D. Wong, Laura Allen and Dylan Minnette will also star.

Jones, who won an Emmy for her role on 24, has appeared in Ocean's Twelve, The Perfect Storm and Erin Brockovich.
