Cheers to Scott Caan for finding a home on the small screen.
The swagger-iffic son of James Caan spent the past 15 years trying to follow in his dad's cinematic footsteps and only occasionally landing decent smallish roles in films like the Ocean's 11/12/13 franchise and Nicolas Cage's directorial debut, Sonny (coincidentally, the name of his pop's Godfather character). Now he's decided to try his luck at TV, and he's already scored on Entourage as Scotty Lavin, the gung-ho manager who's muscling in on suddenly devil-may-care movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier).

But that's just the beginning: Caan landed the plum role of Danno (originally played by another showbiz scion, Helen Hayes' son James MacArthur) in CBS' hot fall remake of Hawaii Five-0. Based on a peek at the pilot, he steals the show away from ostensible stars Alex O'Loughlin and Daniel Dae Kim. When it comes to TV stardom, yes, Caan can.
Are you glad Scott Caan's booking small-screen gigs?
