Chaz Bono Is "Tutoring" Cher for Her Dancing with the Stars Appearance

Who knew that Cher could still get stage fright?

The iconic singer said she's "worried" about her guest appearance on Dancing with the Stars Monday, and she's been getting pointers from her son, DWTS alum Chaz Bono, ABC News reports.

"He's coming tonight to give me tips!" Cher said on a conference call last week, according to ABC. "He said, 'Mom, you don't understand how seriously people take this. I'm coming over tonight and ... I'm going to tutor you.' Obviously, I'm going to need all the help I can get."

Cher will act as a guest judge on Monday's episode and will also perform. She's more nervous about the former part, however, and said she plans to have a "cramming" session with Chaz ahead of time.

"I have no idea what I'm doing," she admitted, according to ABC. "I don't know how you judge it. ... I was there when Chaz was doing it and saw how difficult it was. I just don't want to miss some fabulous thing that someone is doing ... that would be a big deal, and I wouldn't even know it."

Added Cher: "I just don't want to be responsible for someone getting a different mark than a professional would give them," she said.
