CBS Orders Reality Pilot From So You Think You Can Dance's Nigel Lythgoe

CBS is teaming with So You Think You Can Danceexecutive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe.

The network has ordered a pilot for the reality competition In the Spotlight, TVGuide.com has learned.

Adapted for the U.S. from a Turkish format, In the Spotlight is described as a performance show with a fresh take on the competitive aspect. Lythgoe will executive-produce with Jennifer Bresnan, Jeff Collins and Michael Hammond (Dance Moms).

Lythgoe, a longtime American Idol executive producer, departed the show after last season.
