CBS may have had the best idea ever. The network is reportedly planning to do an all-Big Brother edition of The Amazing Race.

According to TMZ, The Amazing Race has already locked down its roster of Big Brother alums to participate in the upcoming season, which will begin filming shortly. TMZ's sources also claim that the season will feature at least one Big Brother winner, and we're hoping CBS managed to lock in a Big Brother icon like Will Kirby or Evel Dick instead of someone like Andy Herren or Steve Moses (no offense, guys!).

The idea for the crossover season comes on the heels of BB alums Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf's Amazing Race win in Season 30. The couple's breakout showing in Amazing Race allegedly was what sparked this master class in corporate synergy and we totally get it. Cody and Jess, despite their flaws, were incredibly watchable on both Big Brother and Amazing Race and the idea of taking more notorious BB personalities and pairing them up for a race around the world? That seems like a sure-fire recipe for amazing TV.

Big Brother's Cody and Jess Are Engaged!

But even before Cody and Jess' participation last season, The Amazing Race has always featured Big Brother alums, such as Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas, Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd, and Alison Irwin. So really, we're just kind of shocked it took CBS this long to decide to go all-in on a Big Brother edition.

TV Guide has reached out to CBS for comment.

Big Brother will return this summer to CBS for its landmark 20th season.
