Catherine Zeta-Jones is returning to the small screen after two decades.

Thrilled that Oscar-winner Catherine Zeta-Jones is joining FEUD as Oscar-winner Olivia de Havilland.— Ryan Murphy (@MrRPMurphy) August 16, 2016
The eight-episode first season will chronicle the infamous rivalry between actresses Joan Crawford and Bette Davis during the making 1962's What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon will star as Crawford and Davis, respectively, while Zeta-Jones will take on the role of actress Olivia de Havilland, a friend of Davis. The pilot is partly based on the script Best Actress by Jaffe Cohen and Michael Zam. Each season of Feud will explore a new rivalry.
Feud marks Murphy's third anthology series at FX after American Horror Story and the critically acclaimed American Crime Story, both of which are up for Emmys in September.
In addition to Zeta-Jones, Lange and Sarandon, the cast also includes Alfred Molina as Baby Jane's director Robert Aldrich, Stanley Tucci as studio exec Jack Warner, Judy Davis as gossip columnist Hedda Hopper and Dominic Burgess as Crawford and Davis' co-star Victor Buono.
Feud is slated to debut in 2017 on FX.
