Carrie Underwood, Mike Fisher Expecting First Child

Carrie Underwood and her husband, Nashville Predators player Mike Fisher, are about to be proud parents.

The American Idol alum announced her pregnancy Monday with an adorable photo of herself and her two dogs on Instagram. "In honor of 'Labor' Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier...," she captioned the picture, in which her dogs are wearing matching "I'm going to be a big brother" and "I'm going to be a big sister" T-shirts.

Added Fisher, via Twitter: "We haven't picked names yet but it's looking like Fly is gonna fly. #boyorgirl #flyfisher."

Underwood, 31, and Fisher, 34, have been married since 2010. This will be the first child for the couple.
