Carrie Preston is heading back to Lockhart Gardner.
The True Blood actress will appear in multiple episodes of the upcoming season of The Good Wife as scatterbrained attorney Elsbeth Tascioni.

Introduced in Season 1 of the CBS legal drama as part of Peter's (Chris Noth) defense team, Elsbeth has used her legal expertise to help out the Lockhart Gardner attorneys with sensitive cases — including defending Will (Josh Charles) against bribery charges and helping Alicia (Julianna Margulies) get out of a jam with the Treasury Department.
The Good Wife kicks off its fourth season Sunday, Sept. 30 at 9/8c.
