It's official: The CW has confirmed that Caity Lotz will indeed be playing White Canary in the Flash-Arrow spin-off DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which will premiere midseason.
Lotz played Sara Lance (aka Black Canary) on Arrow before she was killed off at the beginning of Season 3. Her resurrection will likely be thanks to the Lazarus Pit, which has the power to bring characters back to life but often results in madness.

And of course, now that Sara is the White Canary, she's undoubtedly on a collision course with her sister Laurel (Katie Cassidy), the new Black Canary on Arrow.
CW President Mark Pedowitz told reporters on a conference call Thursday that The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow will all co-exist in the same DC universe, and said fans can expect crossovers between the series when appropriate.
