Busy Philipps Has a Baby Girl

Busy Philipps' life just got a little more hectic.

The former Dawson's Creek star and husband Marc Silverstein have welcomed their first child together, People reports.

Birdie Leigh Silverstein arrived Wednesday, weighing 9 lbs. 7 oz. and measuring 21 ½ in. long.

Philipps, who's godmother to Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams' 2-year-old daughter Matilda, announced her pregnancy in January.

In addition to Creek, the 29-year-old is well-known for her role on the short-lived Freaks and Geeks as "freak" Kim Kelly. She has also guested on ER and The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and most recently appeared in Made of Honor. - Joyce Eng
