Burn Notice is beaming up Star Trek's Faran Tahir for a guest spot on the show's upcoming sixth season, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Burn Notice recruits Scrubs' John C. McGinley to play Michael's CIA trainer

Tahir, 49, will portray Ahmed, an arrogant and steely-eyed Lebanese agent who is known for being cautious and ruthless. Amhed believes a shot in the back is the best way to handle an opponent, and has yet to be punished for his heinous actions. Tahir will appear in the third episode of Burn Notice's sixth season, which premieres this summer on USA.

In addition to his role as Starfleet Captain Richard Robau in 2009's Star Trek, Tahir is best known for playing the villain Raza in Iron Man. On the small screen, he has guest starred on 24, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS: Los Angeles and, most recently, Supernatural.
