The Buffy alums are taking over TV this year!
The 42-year-old actor, whose credits also include 24 and Hellcats, will play Dr. Joseph Prestidge, a doctor and potential love interest for Jasmine (Joy Bryant). He will first appear in Episode 3 of the new season, premiering Tuesday, Sept. 13, 10/9c on NBC.
Many Buffy vets have found more permanent homes on TV, including Bones' David Boreanaz and How I Met Your Mother's Alyson Hannigan. This season will also see Sarah Michelle Gellar's return to television in CW's Ringer, while James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter will team up as a married couple on Supernatural.
