Television loves to romanticize reunions between long-lost family members as though just being family means that everything will be cool. Wrong! Brooklyn Nine-Nine knows what's up, and in the second of this Sunday's back-to-back episodes, Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) invites his newly discovered half-sister Kate (guest star Nasim Pedrad) to New York to get to know her... and then quickly regrets it.

When Jake and Amy (Melissa Fumero) realize that Kate is annoying and a bit of a mess — she's in New York City for the first time and she wants to go to The Olive Garden in Times Square for crying out loud -- they spend the rest of the episode trying to figure out how to get her on a plane back to her hometown of Dallas.

Elsewhere in the episode, Gina (Chelsea Peretti) wants to set Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) up with one of her friends and Terry (Terry Crews) has a mishap in yoga (I hope it doesn't involve those beautiful pecs!).

In the first episode of the double feature, Jake and Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) also try to bust a pyramid scheme by cracking its celebrity spokesperson (Jay Chandrasekhar) and Amy gets tested by an overly eager officer who's a lot like she is.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Sunday nights at 8:30/7:30c on Fox, and will air special back-to-back episodes this Sunday, Apr. 15.
