The marquee promised "The M&Ms," but the performer on stage at the San Diego House of Blues - sporting a brown wig, sparkly pink bra top, belly ring, sh-sh-short white skirt and go-go boots - was a confection of a whole other kind. As rumored, Britney Spears commenced her musical comeback late Tuesday, lighting up the SoCal club with a five-song, barely 15-minute (and, by some accounts, entirely lip-synched) set kicked off by "Baby One More Time" (her debut single, natch). ( See video at TMZ.com.) Tickets to enter the packed house ran upwards of $125 a pop, and Brit thanked the audience as she left the stage. "The M&Ms" are next set to candy-coat the HoBs in Anaheim (tonight) and West Hollywood (Thursday).
