NBC seems to be playing a game of musical chairs when scheduling Rock Center with Brian Williams, and according to a new report, host Brian Williams isn't thrilled with the constant shuffling.

Rock Center was recently moved from Thursday nights to Friday nights at 10/9c to make room for the drama Do No Harm, which did far worse than Rock Center in the ratings and was canceled after two episodes.

The Hollywood Reporter suggests that Williams might be upset with NBC's executives after he closed Rock Center on Feb. 8 by calling Friday the show's "latest resting place." THR also cites sources that say Williams is upset that previous talks to expand the program to multiple weekly airings have been abandoned.

But Rock Center's executive producerAlexandra Wallace dismissed the report in a statement to TVGuide.com. "Brian's take on our new time slot was truly funny and the furthest thing from angry,'" Wallace said. "He made light of our travels through the schedule, and we are all thrilled by Rock Center's strong ratings after our Friday night debut. We look forward to settling down in our new home."

This is the third time Rock Center has been moved since it premiered in November 2011. Originally scheduled on Monday nights, it was moved to Wednesdays and then Thursdays, before the latest rescheduling.
