The Jolie-Pitt clan just can't get enough of helping children.

The AP reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $1 million to help kids affected by the war in Iraq through their Jolie-Pitt Foundation. The money was donated to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict (which Jolie co-chairs) and will be distributed to four other groups (the Armed Services YMCA Operation Hero Program, Women for Women International, International Rescue Committee and NineMillion.org) working to provide counseling, books, school supplies and classes for Iraqi kids.

"These educational support programs for children of conflict are the best way to help them heal," Jolie said in a statement, while Pitt added that he hopes "to encourage others to give to these great organizations."

Last year, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation contributed more than $300,000 to the International Rescue Committee's relief efforts in Darfur. - Adam Bryant
