In a new photo published by Peoplefrom the set of David O. Russell's new movie, the Hangover star is seen with the super-curly new hairstyle, wearing aviator sunglasses and a close-shaven beard.

The latest red carpets hits and misses

The movie, Cooper's second collaboration with Russell after Silver Linings Playbook, is set in the 1970s, so Cooper isn't the only actor who has drastically changed his look for the project. Christian Bale was recently seen with a beard, a pot belly and a greasy combover, and Jennifer Lawrence, who also worked with Cooper and Russell on Silver Linings Playbook, was photographed with a whole lot of blonde hair plied on her head. These hairdos are going to make for one heck of a post-production scrapbook!
