Susan Boyle's dream is far from over.

Boyle, 47, retained her spot atop the Billboard 200 album chart for the second straight week with I Dreamed a Dream. The Scottish singer's debut album moved 527,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Sales for the former Britain's Got Talent contestant and YouTube breakout dropped 25 percent from the album's first week on shelves, Nielsen SoundScan reported. After enjoying the best sales week for an album in the U.S. in 2009 in her chart debut, Boyle's cumulative figures now make I Dreamed a Dream the country's 10th-biggest-selling album of the year. In total, the album has sold 1.23 million copies in the United States.

Besides smashing records stateside, Boyle has also found success in her native United Kingdom — where I Dreamed a Dream is the fastest-selling album in 2009 thus far and had the largest first-week sales for a debut album in U.K. chart history,

Next up for Boyle? Her own hourlong concert and entertainment special on the TV Guide Network: I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story.

The special, hosted by America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan, will chronicle her rise to fame and will include interviews with friends and fans as well as a candid sit-down with Boyle herself. The special airs exclusively on TV Guide Network Sunday, Dec. 13 at 8/7c.
