Three new releases couldn't stop the girl on fire. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 topped the box office this weekend, in its second week in theaters. The final installment in the Hunger Games series grossed $51.6 million domestically, bringing its total gross to $198.3 million, according to Box Office Mojo.

At No. 2 was Disney and Pixar's latest release, The Good Dinosaur, which raked in $39.2 million over the weekend. The Good Dinosaur is the second Pixar film to not reach the No. 1 spot in its opening weekend (Inside Out was hindered earlier this year by Jurassic World's domination at the box office), but it is also worth noting it is also only the second Pixar film to be released over Thanksgiving since Toy Story 2in 1999.

Creed performed surprisingly well at the box office, landing at No. 3 with $30.1 million. The film revives Sylvester Stallone's Rocky in an inspiring story about his rival Apollo Creed's illegitimate son, played by Michael B. Jordan.

Rounding out the top five were SpectreandThe Peanuts Movie, both in their fourth week. They earned $12.8 million and $9.7 million, respectively, over the holiday weekend.

The Night Before slipped to No. 6 with $8.2 million, while The Secret in their Eyes fell to No. 7 with $4.5 million. Spotlight ($4.5 million) and Brooklyn ($3.8 million) followed, and The Martian still held a spot in the top 10 with $3.3 million.
